Jennifer Aniston stepped out in a plunging purple midi dress Wednesday in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood, drawing attention as she arrived ahead of the fourth-season premiere of her Apple TV+ series The Morning Show. The 56-year-old actor was accompanied by hypnotist Jim Curtis, who attended the event but did not pose on the red carpet.

Aniston paired the flirty, deep-v dress — featuring a sheer, pleated hemline — with a snug black blazer, nude Louboutin slingback heels and an oxblood leather bag. The outfit, styled by her sisters Nina and Clare Hallworth, was complemented by chandelier earrings, highlighted, blown-out hair and orange-tinted aviator sunglasses. Aniston was shadowed by an imposing bodyguard as she left the building.

On Tuesday night, Aniston attended a glittering premiere for season four of The Morning Show at the Museum of Modern Art in Midtown Manhattan. The 10-episode continuation, written by Charlotte Stoudt and set two years after the UBA-NBN merger depicted in earlier seasons, is scheduled to premiere Sept. 17 on Apple TV+. Aniston, who executive produces and reprises her role as UBA co-host Alex Levy, reportedly earned $2 million per episode for the latest season.

Speaking to People about her portrayal of Alex — a character loosely inspired in part by broadcaster Diane Sawyer — Aniston said, "There's definitely some mirroring going on. Oh my goodness, I think Alex is a lot more expressive and verbal than I am. There's a little bit of — you get that out of your system, in the best way. She's been such a fun character to play. I love playing her." The newsroom drama is a loose adaptation of Brian Stelter's 2013 book Top of the Morning.

Aniston has been linked publicly to Curtis in recent weeks. She posted a silhouette photograph of the 49-year-old transformational coach looking out at the ocean in a summer-themed Instagram slideshow, a move described as a soft launch of their relationship. A source told the Daily Mail that the couple spend much of their time together and share interests in meditation, yoga, therapy and dogs. Aniston previously said in an interview with Travel + Leisure that she used hypnosis to help overcome a fear of flying, which she has indicated helped her meet Curtis.

Curtis, who was born in Los Angeles and raised in New York, has previously dated reality star Bethenny Frankel and was married to Rachel Napolitano, with whom he has a teenage son. He offers retreats and workshops, with an upcoming Energy of Transformation workshop listed at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, membership tiers and speaking engagements that have been reported with fees ranging into the thousands. In his 2017 book The Stimulati Experience, Curtis wrote, "I can't keep a girlfriend because I get bored," and discussed his relationship with his son.

Outside of The Morning Show, Aniston has several projects in development. She will produce and star in an Apple TV+ adaptation of Jennette McCurdy's memoir I'm Glad My Mom Died and will produce a Gen Z reboot of the film 9 to 5, written by Diablo Cody. Last Thursday she marked the fourth anniversary of her haircare brand, LolaVie.

The appearance in New York highlights Aniston's continued visibility at both industry events and in her personal life as she prepares for the return of The Morning Show and a slate of upcoming projects.
