Jennifer Aniston and her boyfriend, hypnotherapist Jim Curtis, are employing meditation and open communication as tools to navigate the "honeymoon phase" of their relationship. Curtis shared that the couple, together for approximately 18 months, finds these practices beneficial for managing initial arguments.
"We do a lot of meditation. We do a lot of talk," Curtis stated during an appearance on the "Jamie Kern Lima Show." He described these methods as "tools" that are particularly effective during the early stages of a romantic connection. "In a honeymoon phase, your tools don't have to be big sledgehammers," he explained.
Curtis, a transformational coach, expressed his contentment with the relationship, describing Aniston as "so grounded and so open and caring and kind and loving." He also noted his welcome into Aniston's close circle of friends, whom he considers like family. "I feel incredibly blessed to be part and welcomed into that family," he said.
The couple reportedly began dating in July of the previous year, with rumors surfacing during an intimate vacation in Mallorca, Spain. They were photographed together during a Fourth of July weekend yacht party, accompanied by actor Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka. During the getaway, Curtis was observed giving Aniston a back massage.
Following the trip, Curtis shared his joy in a newsletter, writing, "When I was sick, sad, stuck and in pain I never thought I would have the abundance, joy and love I now experience on a daily basis." A source indicated that Aniston and Curtis met through mutual acquaintances.
While a source told Page Six that the couple is "very, very happy," they reportedly have "no intention of ever getting married." The same source added that Aniston "never ever questions where she stands" with Curtis, as he is "totally devoted" and "crazy about her."
Aniston was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018.
