Jenni 'JWoww' Farley, known for her role on the reality television show Jersey Shore, married professional wrestler Zack Carpinello in a surprise wedding ceremony on Wednesday night. The couple invited approximately 50 guests to what they advertised as a special screening of Farley's upcoming film, 'Nanny Cam.'
The event took place at Madison Modern Social in Old Bridge, New Jersey. Movie-themed invitations, signage, and a red carpet entrance were used to maintain the surprise. At the gathering, the local mayor, who also served as the officiant, revealed to the guests that the event was, in fact, a wedding.
Farley, 41, and Carpinello, 31, stated that they envisioned a small, meaningful celebration focused on close family and friends, prioritizing creating memories over a large production. They emphasized that the day needed to feel authentic to them as a couple, with the surprise element contributing to the personal and meaningful nature of the event. The couple expressed excitement about seeing their guests' reactions to the surprise.
Farley and Carpinello announced their engagement in March 2021. Carpinello proposed to Farley on February 27, 2021, atop the Empire State Building. Farley shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo of the proposal with a caption indicating she had accepted.
This is Farley's second marriage. Her first husband was truck driver Roger Mathews, with whom she has two children, Meilani and Greyson. They married in 2015 and Farley filed for divorce in 2018. Farley began dating Carpinello in April 2019. Their relationship was documented on the show 'Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,' where Carpinello's age at the time led to him being nicknamed '24' by co-stars due to the nearly decade-long age difference between him and Farley.
The couple experienced a brief separation in October 2019 after an episode aired showing Carpinello interacting closely with Farley's co-star Angelina Pivarnick. Following the incident, Farley expressed feeling disrespected. Carpinello issued an apology on Instagram, taking responsibility for his actions. They reconciled shortly after, and Carpinello indicated his desire to remain with Farley long-term in late 2019.
