Jax Taylor has confirmed he is in a new relationship, addressing speculation that he is dating his and ex-partner Brittany Cartwright's longtime publicist, Lori Krebs. The reality star's confirmation comes after he and Krebs were photographed together in a pool during a vacation in Mexico in mid-July, which sparked romance rumors.
Taylor, 47, responded to a fan's comment on a social media post, stating he is "taken" with a red heart emoji. He did not explicitly name Krebs as his girlfriend.
This development follows Taylor's estrangement from Cartwright, which began in early 2024. After photos of Taylor and Krebs surfaced, Cartwright reportedly fired her publicist. A source told People that Cartwright was "very upset" and "not surprised" by the photos, stating she "could tell" the relationship between Krebs and Taylor "was more than client-rep."
Cartwright, 37, addressed the situation on her podcast, "When Reality Hits," stating she would share "the truth" about the matter soon. She added that her current focus is on her son and her peace.
According to Page Six, the photos left Cartwright feeling "betrayed" by Krebs. An insider suggested Cartwright is more upset with her publicist than with Taylor, as she "doesn't expect much from him at this point."
When rumors about Taylor and Krebs first emerged two years prior, Cartwright reportedly chose to believe Krebs's assurances that nothing was happening. An insider told Daily Mail that Krebs had a pattern of "insert[ing] herself into moments that should be about her clients" and had now "crossed a line she cannot come back from."
Lori Krebs's public relations firm's Instagram account is currently deactivated. Taylor and Cartwright announced their split in February 2024, and Cartwright filed for divorce in August of the same year. During a July 2025 appearance on "Watch What Happens Live," Taylor commented that the divorce proceedings were delayed due to "a lot of stuff that happened."
