Jamie Oliver, at 51, has declared he is experiencing his happiest period, attributing much of this contentment to a deepened understanding of his wife, Jools.

Speaking on The Romesh Ranganathan Show, the renowned chef reflected on his long-standing relationship with Jools, stating, "I want to try and be the best version of myself. My wife's been amazing. She's like my best teacher at the moment."

Oliver expressed surprise at his evolving relationship with his wife, whom he has known since they were teenagers. "I've got to know her more in the last two years. Well, I've been going out of her since I was 18. So, that's interesting. Like, how is that how is that possible? But like I feel like I'm just finally getting to know her properly, which is quite exciting."

He described Jools as a wise and petite figure, humorously noting her notably long legs. The chef emphasized his current state of marital bliss, adding, "I've never loved my wife more than now and I'm so proud of my kids and then like my team at work I'm so grateful for."

Earlier this month, Oliver shared a throwback photograph from his first holiday with Jools in Crete. The image depicted a much younger Oliver with long blond hair and Jools, then a teenager, wearing matching baseball caps. Both he and Jools, a midwife, playfully remarked that they had "haven't changed one bit."

Oliver and Jools met in 1992 on a double date. Despite a period where Jools lived in Tokyo for three months for work, their relationship endured through daily love letters. They married in 2000 and have since had five children: Poppy Honey Rose, 24; Daisy Boo Pamela, 23; Petal Blossom Rainbow, 17; Buddy Bear Maurice, 15; and River Rocket Blue Dallas, 9.
