The band James has canceled its headline performance at the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival due to frontman Tim Booth losing his voice. Festival producer Dougie Brown confirmed the rare occurrence of a headliner withdrawal and announced that Razorlight has been invited to fill the Saturday night slot.

Scots singer Cammy Barnes is scheduled to perform in Razorlight's previous spot on the main stage. The Belladrum festival, held near Beauly, is expected to attract over 20,000 attendees from Thursday to Saturday.

Brown acknowledged the disappointment for James fans but emphasized that health must come first. Barnes, who performed on Thursday, was asked to take over Razorlight's main stage slot after drawing a significant crowd. He received the call while in Glasgow.
