Jade Thirlwall appears in the launch issue of Edward Enninful’s new magazine 72 as she promotes her debut solo album and prepares to begin a UK and Ireland tour next month.

The former Little Mix singer released That's Showbiz Baby! last Friday and has said she is "beyond excited" for the record, which collects previously released singles including "Angel of My Dreams," "Midnight Cowboy," "Fantasy" and "Plastic Box." Thirlwall's first solo tour is scheduled to begin in October.

In the editorial images for 72, Thirlwall, 32, posed in several fashion-forward looks, including oversized coats and exaggerated platform heels. One image shows her in a baby-pink coat paired with navy platform shoes and hair scraped back into a slick bun; another depicts her in a yellow coat with tights and black platform heels. The shoot appears in the highly anticipated launch issue of the magazine edited by Enninful.

Thirlwall, who won Best Pop Act at the 2025 BRIT Awards, spoke about the possibility of a Little Mix reunion in an interview with Capital Buzz, saying, "There will be a Little Mix reunion if it’s the last thing I do. You know it doesn’t matter how long that takes." She did not specify whether any reunion would include former bandmate Jesy Nelson.

Little Mix first rose to prominence after competing on The X Factor in 2011 and became one of the United Kingdom’s most successful girl groups. The band announced a hiatus in 2022, two years after Nelson's departure.

Thirlwall described That's Showbiz Baby! as a project that has been "years in the making," adding that she is proud of the album "as a body of work" and is looking forward to performing it live. Promotional activity for the record has included a pop-up newspaper stand on Oxford Street, where she appeared in a semi-sheer top worn without a bra and matching flared trousers.

A surprise performance in Newcastle earlier in the week drew more than 1,000 fans to a truck-stage by the Angel of the North. Police were called to the event after fans caused traffic disruption, according to reports.

The 72 launch adds to a late-summer schedule of publicity for Thirlwall, who has moved quickly from group success to establishing a solo profile with charting singles and award recognition. Her upcoming tour will mark her first major run of live dates as a solo headliner and is expected to visit venues across the UK and Ireland.
