Singer Jade Thirlwall, 33, and Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens, 34, have reportedly ended their six-year relationship. Insiders suggest the couple began experiencing issues several months ago, leading to candid discussions about their future.

A source close to the situation told The Sun that the decision to split was not easy for either of them. "Naturally, this didn’t happen overnight," the source stated. "Deciding to leave each other wasn’t an easy decision for either of them. It was a gradual decision as they thought through what their futures would look like both with or without each other."

According to the report, Thirlwall and Stephens share a high level of mutual respect and affection, with the source adding, "There is only love and respect between them. Things just weren’t working and they were honest about that."

Reports indicate that the pair, who lived together and divided their time between London and Margate, separated earlier this year. Both artists have reportedly removed traces of each other from their respective Instagram accounts.

Thirlwall recently alluded to personal struggles in an interview with The Fader, where she discussed channeling her private experiences into her upcoming second album. "Whatever I'm going through at the minute, like privately, I'm sort of putting pen to paper," she shared.

Stephens has reportedly embarked on a solo trip, sharing images from his getaway on social media. Thirlwall is preparing for upcoming performances.

The couple met during lockdown through a series of virtual dates. Thirlwall had previously described the experience of finding love during the pandemic as unusual, noting that she was not actively seeking a relationship at the time but found it a valuable way to get to know someone.

Thirlwall, who previously dated Jed Elliott, had stated that it was important for her to be with someone supportive and felt she was a good match with Stephens. Stephens, one half of the duo Rizzle Kicks, also collaborated with Thirlwall on her debut album, contributing backing vocals to the song "Headache."
