Social media influencer Molly-Mae Hague experienced a startling moment when a crow swooped down and snatched her lunch while she was relaxing by a swimming pool in Dubai. The incident, which occurred while she was filming for her vlog, resulted in Hague choking on her food.
According to footage shared from her holiday with fiancé Tommy Fury, Hague was seated on a sunbed eating chicken tenders when the bird descended, took her food, and flew off. The shock caused her to cough and splutter, exclaiming, "I've just choked! I'm in shock!" The bird was later seen dropping the stolen chicken into the pool.
The couple were staying at the Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, a luxury resort where nightly rates are reported to be around £5,000. Their trip to Dubai involved flying first class on Emirates, with Hague sharing glimpses of their journey on social media. The flight included her working on editing a YouTube video and enjoying an in-flight movie, while Fury also filmed his partner.
The resort itself is described as a superyacht-inspired luxury property featuring multiple restaurants, a spa, swimming pools, and a private beach. Their accommodation included a large bed and a sleek bathroom. From their room, they had a view of the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab.
Hague and Fury were on this short trip without their two young children, Bambi, aged three, and 11-week-old Midas. This break came shortly after Hague expressed that she would likely not have more children due to the challenges of parenting a toddler and a newborn. She recently detailed Midas's struggles with feeding issues, including reflux that caused him significant pain and distress. In a YouTube vlog released earlier in the week, she described being in "survival mode" and stated that her baby days would be over after their second child.
