Australian influencer Sarah Stevenson, known online as Sarah's Day, has drawn criticism after listing a used designer couch for $6,000 AUD (approximately $4,188 USD) on Facebook Marketplace. The 33-year-old mother of three purchased the Jardan Wilfred lounge about six years ago for around $7,679 USD.

Despite the high price, eagle-eyed shoppers noticed the listing did not mention stains on the three-seater pink couch. In a social media video from mid-May, Stevenson acknowledged that her children had caused stains by eating on the furniture. She stated that she let them eat on the couch and, after a professional cleaning, the fabric's vibrant pink hue turned "gray."

Stevenson defended her family's hygiene, insisting they are not a "grubby" household. However, many online users expressed shock at the asking price, given the couch's condition. Comments on social media platforms included remarks such as "If I have $6K for a new couch I will be purchasing something brand new" and descriptions of the furniture as "ran through."

Some users found the couch itself unappealing, with one calling it "actually so ugly" and others noting its apparent lack of comfort. One commenter humorously stated they wouldn't even inquire about the couch if it were offered for free. Stevenson, who has over one million followers on Instagram, shares her children—Fox, Malakai, and Harlow—with her husband, Kurt Tilse. She recently participated in a Hyrox women's doubles pro fitness race.
