The next installment of HBO's 'House of the Dragon,' Season 3 Episode 4, is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The episode will be available on both HBO and the streaming service HBO Max at 9 PM Eastern Time.
Last week's episode, "Rhaenyra Triumphant," concluded with a revelation regarding Prince Daeron. Alicent Hightower revealed that the boy taken by Daemon Targaryen was not Prince Daeron, but rather a distraction orchestrated by Ormund Hightower. Ormund used this diversion to advance his troops to Tumbleton, where the true Prince Daeron is reportedly waiting with his dragon, Tessarion.
Queen Rhaenyra faces multiple challenges in the wake of these events. She has alienated the Sea Snake by refusing to legitimize his sons, and is experiencing hallucinations of her deceased son, Jace. Furthermore, the royal treasury has been depleted by "Team Green," leaving Rhaenyra's administration with financial difficulties. The populace is suffering from starvation, Triarchy pirates are active, and Rhaenyra is experiencing personal turmoil.
Season 3 of 'House of the Dragon' will consist of eight episodes, with new installments airing on Sundays through August 9. The episode schedule is as follows:
- June 21: Episode 1, “Salt and Sea, Fire and Blood”

- July 5: Episode 3, “Rhaenyra Triumphant”
- July 12: Episode 4
