Stephanie Panozzo, who plays Eden on Home and Away, says Ada Nicodemou offered practical advice before filming Eden's wedding scene in Summer Bay. Panozzo, on the show since 2022, noted it was her first time wearing a wedding gown, on screen and in real life, and described the moment as surreal.

Nicodemou's tip came as the cast prepared for a long wedding day on set. Panozzo said rest would be essential to get through the long day. On screen, Eden is preparing to marry police officer Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright) in what is framed as a bright moment before tragedy strikes in the Bay. Panozzo emphasized that viewers should brace for more heartbreak as the year unfolds for the soap.

The wedding was filmed at Wallalong House in the Hunter Valley, a setting the cast described as offering a school-camp atmosphere. The production included guest stars Tammy Macintosh, Aaron Jeffrey and Peter Phelps, and weather posed occasional rain delays. Still, Panozzo said the team dedicated significant time and resources to ensure the ceremony looked stunning on screen, a payoff she expects will resonate with audiences.

Panozzo noted that Eden's moment mirrors a tradition of Summer Bay weddings that fans have followed for decades. She drew inspiration from past storylines, including the 2009 wedding of Belle (Jessica Tovey) and Aden (Todd Lasance), explaining Eden's dress nods to Belle's gown with subtle touches of black woven into the design. Eden's arc has been eventful since she joined the show in 2022, including a kidnapping ordeal during a camping trip referenced in the 2023 shock finale.

As the drama unfolds, Home and Away continues to blend romance with danger. The network has not indicated a change to the show's schedule, with new episodes airing at 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday on Channel Seven and 7Plus.
