Holly Willoughby arrived fashionably late to the red carpet at the National Television Awards (NTAs) on Tuesday evening, opting to avoid her former colleagues from the "This Morning" program, which went on to win the award for Best Daytime show.

Willoughby, 45, appeared glamorous in a strapless black gown embellished with silver diamantes. She later took to the stage to present the award for Authored Documentary, which was given to the BBC’s special "Our Girls: The Southport Families."

The ITV show "This Morning" continued its winning streak, securing the Best Daytime award once again. The program’s current hosts, Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, alongside Friday hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, accepted the award.

This year's NTAs ceremony, hosted by Joel Dommett, celebrated achievements across British television. In other notable awards, David Attenborough received the Best Presenter award, marking his first win in this category after a long career. The show "Strictly Come Dancing" took home the award for Best Talent Show. The Celebrity Traitors won the Factual Entertainment category, and Jeremy Clarkson's Prime Video series "Clarkson's Farm" received the Reality Docuseries award.

Willoughby stepped down from "This Morning" in October 2023 following police foiling a plot to kidnap, rape, and murder her. This decision followed a period of scandal for the show, including her longtime co-host Phillip Schofield admitting to lying about a relationship with a younger colleague.

Last month, Willoughby returned to the spotlight with her new YouTube show, "Together." The series is reportedly valued at approximately £5 million with an 18-month contract. The show has received mixed reviews, with some critics comparing it unfavorably to other lifestyle ventures. Guests on "Together" have included Stanley Tucci, Emma Bunton, and Katherine Ryan.
