Holly Ramsay celebrated the first anniversary of her engagement to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty by posting a personal Instagram image that showed her in a white lingerie set and highlighted a yellow diamond engagement ring.
Ramsay, 25, and Peaty, 30, confirmed their engagement in September 2024 after three years of dating and are scheduled to marry this December. In the Instagram post, Ramsay wrote, "One whole year of being engaged (love heart emoji) I love you more and more every day, now let's get married."
The post followed a string of social-media updates this year in which Ramsay shared glimpses of what she has called her "bridal era," including snaps from a recent weekend at The Grove Hotel in Watford where she posted photos in a red bikini and documented a pottery-making session. The influencer also posted stickers featuring Peaty as part of the weekend activities.
Ramsay has said wedding plans are under way and that she has selected a gown, though she declined to reveal whether it will be traditional. Speaking earlier this summer at the Sport Industry Awards, she said she took inspiration from the lace and traditional style of Catherine, Princess of Wales's wedding dress.
Her father, chef Gordon Ramsay, 58, is reported to be overseeing the food for the ceremony. Family members have described growing excitement around the couple's winter wedding, with Ramsay saying she likes the "Christmas magic feeling of everyone coming together."
The engagement was announced with images from a holiday in Mallorca. In her original Instagram announcement, Ramsay wrote, "I am marrying my best friend," and said she could not put into words how she was feeling. "I still remember how big my smile was the morning I got home from my first date with you," she wrote, adding, "I love you & I cannot wait to be your wife."
Peaty is a multiple Olympic gold-medal winner and a prominent figure in British swimming. Ramsay, who has built a following as an influencer, has increasingly shared aspects of her personal life online as the wedding approaches.
