Hilaria Baldwin is set to spend the month of July in Mallorca, Spain, with her children, marking a return to the island five years after a controversy surrounding her heritage erupted. Baldwin, who has seven children with husband Alec Baldwin, revealed her travel plans in an interview with The Daily Mail, stating she is "super excited" for the trip.
"I'm bringing my kids to go be with my family for the month of July in Mallorca," Baldwin told the outlet at the 2026 Gurus Beauty Awards. "So I'm super excited. So that's kind of how I envision the summers going forward." She added that she hopes to spend more time in Spain with her family and is "testing the waters" for future summers there, as an alternative to their usual stays in the Hamptons.
Baldwin plans to split her summer between Spain and her home in the Hamptons. The family's travel plans come as she and Alec Baldwin approach their 14th wedding anniversary on June 30. Baldwin shared a lighthearted anecdote about a delayed anniversary gift, a candle inscribed with "Annoying each other for 13 years," which she recently rediscovered after hiding it.
Alec Baldwin, who has eight children in total including his daughter Ireland from a previous marriage, recently celebrated Father's Day. Hilaria Baldwin described a family celebration that included homemade gifts, a book titled "There Are Dads Way Worse Than You," and a viewing of "Encanto" at the Philharmonic.
The family, who made their reality TV debut with the TLC series "The Baldwins," are also navigating the sale of their Hamptons residence. The property has been on and off the market since September 2022, with its most recent listing at $18.99 million after initial asking prices of $29 million.
Baldwin addressed the ongoing sale, stating that they are "looking for the right thing" and are in a flexible phase of life, considering various possibilities. She also noted that she was unaware of the home's recent price reductions.
The controversy surrounding Hilaria Baldwin's background emerged in December 2020. While she had previously implied or stated she was from Spain, it was revealed she was born Hillary Hayward-Thomas in Boston. Baldwin has since stated that she was raised with both American and Spanish cultures and has always felt a connection to both. Her parents have resided in Mallorca since 2011, and she has spoken Spanish since childhood, frequently traveling to the island. She acknowledged in early 2021 that she "should have been more clear" about her background and has described her shifting accent as "code-switching."
