Dame Helen Mirren made a striking appearance at the Toronto Film Festival on Monday, captivating attendees in a vibrant red blazer and a black pleated skirt. The 81-year-old British actress complemented her look with pointed-toe heels and dazzling silver earrings, posing for photographers at the premiere of her new film, "A Talent For Murder."
Elsewhere, actress and singer Billie Piper, 43, also garnered attention in a chic black suit at the "Elsinore" premiere. Piper completed her ensemble with stilettos and styled her bobbed hair in curls, appearing in good spirits.
Among the other notable attendees were Orlando Bloom and Andrew Scott, both opting for sharp black suits. Bloom, 49, presented a dapper image in a black blazer, matching trousers, and a high-collared white shirt.
Scott, also 49, chose a black leather blazer paired with an open-collar white shirt tucked into smart trousers.
Mirren's appearance comes shortly after she was seen with Tom Hardy at the London premiere of "MobLand" season two. Despite earlier reports of tension on set, Mirren and Hardy appeared amicable. Mirren, who plays Maeve Harrigan in the series, had previously commented on her ability to "work with people as she's got older," addressing the rumors of behind-the-scenes friction.
