Helen Flanagan has addressed criticism of her clothing choices by sharing a video featuring a low-cut corset top. The 35-year-old actress, who has three children with ex-partner Scott Sinclair, stated she was tired of online trolls commenting on her outfits.

In the clip, Flanagan is seen in the back of a taxi wearing a black corset with white lace trim. She lip-synced to audio that said, "And sometimes, the outfit is t*tty, sometimes the outfit is just breast. You understand what I'm saying?" She preempted negative comments by writing, "Your a mum you shouldn't dress like that. Never bought a drink in my life."

Flanagan, mother to Matilda, 9, Delilah, 6, and Charlie, 3, co-parents her children with Sinclair. The couple separated in 2022 after 13 years together. Following this, she was in a relationship with construction worker Robbie, 45, which ended in the summer of 2025. She has been single for the past year.

Earlier in the week, Flanagan reflected on her year of being single on Instagram. She wrote that she misses having a boyfriend only when her children are not with her, describing herself as a "relationship girl." As her 36th birthday approached, she expressed that she doesn't want to settle for a partner unless it feels right, preferring to be alone otherwise. She also noted that she generally dislikes being alone and prefers company with close friends or family when not with her children.

This comes after Flanagan recently shared a tearful selfie discussing casual sex and "intense rejection," linking these experiences to being a woman with ADHD. She stated on Instagram that she is not a "casual girl" when it comes to sex, identifying more as a "lover girl/wifey" who gets attached, and called men who ghost after sex "big fat rats."

In another post, she described experiencing "limerence" and "terrible rejection sensitivity," which she is learning to manage. She recalled being a romantic from a young age and falling in love intensely, noting that her first boyfriend was Danny, with whom she moved in at 17. Her second partner was her children's father, a relationship that lasted 13 years, during which she got his name tattooed at 19.

Flanagan also spoke about ADHD, mentioning that addictions are more common in individuals with ADHD. While she stated she does not have a problem with alcohol, she admitted to developing unhealthy habits to cope with stress after separating from her children's father, describing it as "numbing" her feelings. She expressed empathy for those struggling with drug addiction, as someone close to her has faced such challenges.

She further described experiencing overstimulation as a mother with ADHD, particularly with multiple sounds at once. While acknowledging she swears when frustrated and is not the most organized, she emphasized that she ensures everything is perfect for her children. Flanagan also speculated that at least one of her three children might be neurodivergent.
