Helen Flanagan is set to charge fans £60 for signed photographs at an upcoming event, as she has openly discussed her financial challenges as a single mother. The actress is scheduled to appear at the For The Love of Retro event in Telford on September 5.

Flanagan, 36, recently sold the family home she shared with ex-partner Scott Sinclair for £945,000. The property was initially listed for £1.5 million, resulting in a sale price of £555,000 below the asking price.

Flanagan and Sinclair, a professional footballer, share three children: Matilda, 11, Delilah, eight, and Charlie, five. The couple ended their 13-year relationship in 2022.

In a social media video shared after the sale, Flanagan admitted to feeling unsure about her career path and personal direction. "I've not really been sure of myself recently. I kind of feel like… I'm turning 36 in August, I've just done this house move, I'm kind of unsure where I am like career wise as well," she stated. She also expressed frustration with her work situation, noting her desire to act and her current need for employment.

The property sale marks a significant step as the couple moves on from their relationship. Land Registry records indicate the house was purchased by a couple who manage a property company. Sinclair was the sole registered owner of the property, having paid for it in cash. The couple, though together for many years, never married.

Reports suggest Sinclair felt the six-bedroom house was too large for Flanagan and the children on her own. Tensions between the former couple also arose over furnishings, including a £15,000 sofa. Flanagan had attempted to sell the sofa for £3,950, but Sinclair reportedly intervened to block the sale.

Flanagan has also spoken about the difficulties of parenting during school holidays. She recently shared on Instagram her feelings of being overwhelmed by unpacking and household chaos in her new living situation, having moved out of the family home. She expressed gratitude for her parents' support in managing her children's activities and her work commitments. Flanagan also noted that the children's father had not seen them for nearly a month, anticipating a break when they were with him.

"I'm really overwhelmed in the house there is still so much unpacking and boxes so it’s chaos and I can’t return any of my emails or phone calls with these two," she wrote. "The kids dad has not had them for nearly a month so when he does I’ll get a break x I think I speak for all mums over the school holidays- we are tired but love them so much and so many amazing memories made x" she added. Flanagan mentioned looking forward to personal time for the gym, physiotherapy, and reconnecting with friends, highlighting how productive she can be during the hours her children are at school.
