Harry Styles made a lighthearted jest about his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift's recent wedding to Travis Kelce during his New York City concert on Saturday. While performing at Madison Square Garden, Styles, 32, remarked, "We're at Madison Square Garden, home of the world champion New York Knicks. And they also do weddings," according to fan-recorded footage.
The comment comes weeks after Swift and Kelce reportedly tied the knot on July 3. Styles was allegedly invited to the event but was unable to attend due to a prior concert commitment in London. Swift's close friend Zoe Kravitz, however, was in attendance.
Styles is currently in the midst of a 30-date residency at Madison Square Garden as part of his "Together, Together" tour. He arrived at the venue on Saturday in his characteristic style, wearing black shorts and an orange T-shirt.
Earlier in the week, Styles engaged in playful banter with his audience, jokingly commenting on the perceived odor of the New York City crowd during a breathing exercise. "Smell those New York City armpits!" he quipped, prompting laughter from his fans.
Styles and Swift dated for a few months between late 2012 and early 2013. Despite their past high-profile relationship, the two appear to maintain amicable terms.
