Harry Styles and Zoë Kravitz were photographed appearing affectionate during a stroll through Rome on Friday, with the singer briefly placing a hand on the actress’s lower back and, in images published by the Daily Mail, on her bottom.
The pair wandered through the historic city, stopping at boutique shops. Styles, 31, wore a white graphic T-shirt, slim blue jeans and trainers with a denim shirt draped over his shoulders, while Kravitz, 36, was seen in a black mini dress with spaghetti straps, red ballet flats and a woven straw tote.
The Rome outing came a day after the pair were reported to have flown out of New York’s JFK Airport together. During their time in New York, Page Six reported, Styles accompanied Kravitz to dinner with friends at the Manhattan branch of Wolfgang Puck’s Cut and met her father, musician Lenny Kravitz, at a local bistro. Page Six cited onlookers and unnamed sources who described the gatherings as social introductions among overlapping friend groups.
Photographs and reports over the past week have traced their movements from a walk in Brooklyn's Williamsburg, where Kravitz owns property, to nights out in Manhattan and the transatlantic flight to Italy. The Daily Mail said friends of the pair described the relationship as “new and fresh” and that they were spending time together without emphasizing official labels.
An anonymous source quoted by the Daily Mail said the couple’s friends see potential for a more serious relationship, while another source told Page Six that Styles has been "the happiest" he has been recently. The reports emphasize that neither Styles nor Kravitz has publicly confirmed the status of their relationship.
The New York restaurant visits included Sant Ambroeus, where the meeting with Lenny Kravitz reportedly took place, and the upscale Cut, part of a Michelin-starred steakhouse chain. Observers told Page Six that spirits were high during the gatherings and that the parties included mixed groups of friends rather than private one-on-one dates.
Styles, who first rose to fame as a member of One Direction and later established a solo music and acting career, has been linked in previous years to a number of public figures, including Olivia Dean, Taylor Russell, Olivia Wilde, Camille Rowe, Tess Ward, Taylor Swift and the late Caroline Flack. Kravitz is known for her acting work, including a starring role in the recent DC film franchise, and for her connection to musician Lenny Kravitz.
Photographs of the Rome outing add to a string of recent public appearances in which the two were seen together. Media outlets reporting on the images described casual, affectionate behavior and travelers’ ease together, but provided no confirmation of a formal relationship. Both parties have historically kept their private lives largely out of public comment.
Representatives for Styles and Kravitz did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The sightings follow several months of intermittent public attention to the pair, as reports and photos have periodically surfaced showing them in each other’s company in London, New York and now Rome.
