Comedian Harry Enfield has put his coastal holiday home in Cornwall on the market for £2.85 million, potentially yielding a substantial profit from his original purchase price. Enfield acquired the six-bedroom property, known as The Old Granary in St Minver near Wadebridge, for £826,000 with his then-wife Lucy Lyster approximately twenty years ago.

The property is situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and overlooks the Camel Estuary. Enfield, 65, has previously expressed his deep affection for the area, citing his daily surfing habits in the summer and on New Year's Day. He noted his long history with the nearby surfing destination of Polzeath, which he has visited since 1972.

The Old Granary features an entrance hall, a spacious sitting room with vaulted ceilings, a log burner, and a south-facing terrace. It also offers a footpath leading to the water's edge and access to communal tennis courts. The property is currently operating as a holiday let.

This sale follows another profitable property transaction for Enfield. Two years ago, he sold his former marital home in Notting Hill, west London, for £10.79 million, reportedly making a profit of nearly £5 million. Enfield and Lucy Lyster, a children's clothes designer, purchased the London home for £6 million in 2008. The couple separated after 23 years of marriage in 2020.

Enfield is known for his comedy sketch work, including characters like Kevin the Teenager and The Slobs. He and Lyster have three children together. Enfield has been contacted for comment.
