Hannah Waddingham's partner, orthopaedic surgeon Nicolas Beresford-Cleary, has made a notable public appearance alongside the actress at the Los Angeles premiere of the fourth season of the Apple TV+ series "Ted Lasso". Beresford-Cleary, 46, appeared with Waddingham, who plays Rebecca Welton in the comedy-drama, at the event on Monday.

Beresford-Cleary, typically seen in a professional capacity, presented a more debonair image at the premiere. He was photographed wearing a white shirt, a cream linen suit, dark green and brown Armani aviator sunglasses, and brown loafers. While appearing polished, his jacket was reportedly from high street retailer H&M.

With his workplace attire appearing to feature an off-the-rack shirt and tie ¿ complete with staff lanyard and gelled hair ¿ Hannah Waddingham's boyfriend Nicolas Beresford-Cleary could have gone unnoticed in any office

In contrast, his usual work attire as an orthopaedic surgeon often involves a standard shirt and tie, sometimes with a staff lanyard. Beresford-Cleary works at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the private London clinic Grosvenor Orthopaedic Partners, and King Edward VII Hospital in London. He is noted for his "extensive experience in robotics and navigation in spinal surgery."

The couple was first seen together in March at the Cheltenham Festival. They made their red carpet debut the following month at the Variety Power of Women event in London. Waddingham, who turned 52 on Tuesday, wore a £6,180 gold sculpted dress by Monique Lhuillier to the "Ted Lasso" premiere.

This relationship marks a public step for Waddingham, who previously stated she had been focused on her daughter, Kitty, 12, after splitting from her long-term partner Gianluca Cugnetto. Waddingham told Women's Health that she is now "ready to stick my head above the parapet a bit more" and enjoys being "happy and strong in myself."
