A new-construction mansion on the site of a Hamptons tear-down where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie once summered has been listed for $35 million, according to the Corcoran listing. The property at 495 Ox Pasture Road in Southampton’s estate section is slated for completion by the end of the year, listing broker Tim Davis said.

The residence, built on 2.2 acres south of the highway, replaces a 1995 house that the current sellers purchased for $12.7 million in 2022. The sellers initially listed the standing home for $14.45 million before deciding to demolish it and rebuild from the ground up, Davis said.

The new property, roughly 12,000 square feet, includes an elevator, 12 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms and three powder rooms. Outdoor amenities include a 60-foot pool, a pool house, a renovated tennis court and extensive mature perimeter landscaping. "The house is positioned back from the road and has a true estate feeling. There’s nothing else like it in Southampton," Davis said.

Designed by Martin Architects and built by Koral Brothers Builders, the interior plan opens to a large foyer leading to a living room with a glass wall overlooking the pool, garden and great lawn. The main floor features an open kitchen and living area, a library, a home office, a large guest suite and an additional guest-or-staff suite. The upper level contains the main bedroom suite, described in the listing as having two spa-like baths, plus a separate guest suite. The lower level offers a gym, home theater, wine storage and space for a sauna.

Pitt and Jolie stayed in the earlier house on the site in 2006, a period when paparazzi interest in the couple was intense. A source at the time told Gimme Shelter that helicopters carrying photographers flew so low above the property that the couple feared a crash into the house. The couple divorced last year after an eight-year legal dispute.

The listing places the property within a well-established estate section of Southampton and close to the ocean, according to the broker. Davis and his son, Thomas Davis, share the Corcoran listing. The sellers have not publicly disclosed a closing timeline beyond the completion date for construction.

High-end Hamptons sales have frequently featured new construction on parcels previously occupied by older homes, a trend that agents say caters to buyers seeking modern amenities and turnkey properties near the beach. The Ox Pasture Road listing highlights that pattern: an earlier dwelling with celebrity associations was removed to make way for a contemporary estate designed for year-round living and recreational use.

The property is being marketed as a private estate with substantial landscaping and outdoor facilities intended to appeal to buyers seeking both entertainment space and seclusion. The listing price of $35 million reflects its size, location and amenities, and will be among the higher-priced offerings in Southampton this season.
