Gwyneth Paltrow, 53, has joined the popular social media platform TikTok, making her debut with a video that featured her appearing topless while lounging in bed. The Oscar winner's introductory post is a montage of clips filmed in various locations, including a bathtub and aboard a helicopter.
Paltrow's debut video shows her reclining on a bed with white sheets, adorned only with gold-rimmed aviator eyeglasses and matching earrings. In another segment, she is seen in a bathtub, also wearing black-framed aviators. Throughout the montage, Paltrow recites variations of the phrase, "One second, I'm just doing a TikTok," in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, and French. She shared the clips on Instagram Stories with the caption, "Apparently I’m on TikTok now."
Paltrow, known for her wellness and lifestyle brand Goop, also returned to acting in the 2024 table tennis drama "Marty Supreme." Earlier this year, photos of her kissing co-star Timothée Chalamet on the film set went viral, prompting amused reactions from her "mommy group chats," as she previously shared.
In December 2025, she discussed her role in the Josh Safdie-directed film, where she plays a retired movie star. In March 2026, she also drew criticism for appearing in an advertisement for a luxury residential development in Herzliya, Israel. The campaign, which showed her promoting the benefits of living near a park, led some social media users to accuse her of supporting the country's actions in Gaza and Lebanon.
Paltrow is the daughter of the late director Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner. She shares two children, Apple, 22, and Moses, 20, with ex-husband Chris Martin. Paltrow has been married to television producer Brad Falchuk since 2018.
