Graeme 'The Dogfather' Hall has been revealed as the 11th celebrity contestant for the 2026 season of Strictly Come Dancing. The presenter and bestselling author, known for his work with dogs, will join a cast that includes EastEnders star Lacey Turner and Dani Dyer.
Hall, who hosts Channel 5's "Dog's Behaving (Very) Badly," has a decade-long career in television. His other credits include "The Dog Hospital with Graeme Hall," regular contributions to "This Morning" and BBC radio, and a cameo in "All Creatures Great and Small." He is also the author of several books, including the Sunday Times bestseller "All Dogs Great and Small," and his children's book "The Ultimate Kid’s Guide to Dog’s" was shortlisted for the Junior Book Awards 2025.
"I have always loved dancing, so to have the opportunity to learn from the best in the business is a dream come true," Hall stated. "I have watched the show for years, so to be a part of it feels like a very exciting challenge, albeit more than a bit nerve-wracking!"
Turner, who is currently on an extended break from her role as Stacey Slater in "EastEnders," admitted to being both excited and terrified about participating, aiming to learn a new skill. Dyer will make her return to the ballroom after fracturing her ankle during rehearsals for the 2025 season. BBC bosses had previously expressed hope for her return.
Further announcements regarding the upcoming season are expected throughout the summer. The new series is scheduled to begin in September on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. The professional dancer lineup for 2026 has also seen changes, with five new faces joining the roster following the departure of several established professionals.
