Mia Talerico, best known for her role as Charlie Duncan in the Disney Channel sitcom “Good Luck Charlie,” has officially entered her senior year of high school. The 17-year-old shared photos on Instagram commemorating her first day of senior year.

Talerico was an infant when she began portraying the character Charlie Duncan in “Good Luck Charlie” in 2010. The series concluded in 2014, by which time she was around five years old. She starred alongside Bridgit Mendler, Bradley Steven Perry, and Jason Dolley, who played her older siblings.

In a 2020 Zoom reunion with Entertainment Tonight for the show's 10th anniversary, Talerico reflected on her experience. "I probably had a really easy role ‘cause I just got told most of my lines or didn’t have any," she recalled. She added that the production often adapted to her actions, citing an instance where a crawling scene turned into her standing up, with the crew incorporating it into the episode.

Following “Good Luck Charlie,” Talerico appeared in short films such as “Shadow Theory” (2015) and “Photographic Memory” (2017). Her upcoming project, “American Summer,” is slated for release on September 4.

Fans and former co-stars commented on Talerico's Instagram post, with Eric Allan Kramer, who played her father on the show, writing, “You make a TV Dad proud.” The official Disney Plus Instagram account also commented, “Time goes by so fast!”
