Amy Tapper, the former Gogglebox star, shared photos this week showing what her representatives and social posts describe as a seven-stone weight loss after she began using the medication Mounjaro alongside an exercise programme.

In a recent snap posted as she enjoyed a night out, the 25-year-old wore a white blouse and fitted black trousers and said she had dropped three dress sizes in about a year. Tapper has publicly credited a doctor-introduced course of weekly injections — which she began in June last year and ramped up to a 15mg weekly dose in February — for helping her reach the milestone.

Tapper has chronicled the changes on social media, posting comparison images and clips of workouts including weight training and boxing. In April she celebrated shedding six stone in a visibly emotional video in which she and her personal trainer cheered as she saw the numbers on a scale. She later told The Sun she was "fitting into size 18 clothes for the first time since I was 15 or 16" and called the change life-changing.

The reality television alum said she had decided to try the injections after feeling there was "nothing else I could do." She has acknowledged public criticism of such treatments, saying she was frustrated when people call it the "lazy way out" and stressing that she had worked on fitness and diet for years prior to the medication.

Tapper rose to public attention in 2013 when she joined the Channel 4 series Gogglebox with her parents and brother. She left the show in 2018. In interviews and on social platforms she has recounted dealing with negative comments and trolling during her time on television, including remarks about her and her family's weight. Tapper said the response to her weight-loss journey has more recently included messages from followers who say they have been inspired by her progress.

Her social-media updates have included milestones and comparisons: wearing a jumper that had been tight in 2022 and later appearing in it baggier, and posting images from family events showing a notably slimmer figure. She has repeatedly thanked her personal trainer and supporters for ongoing encouragement and credited a combination of the injections, training and lifestyle changes for the results she has posted.

Tapper’s public discussion of her weight loss comes amid wider attention on injectable medications used to treat weight-related conditions; she has been careful in interviews to describe her path as personal and to respond to critics who question the use of pharmaceuticals as part of a weight-loss strategy.

Representatives for Tapper did not immediately provide additional comment beyond her social posts. The star has continued to document her fitness routine and said she plans to share more about her journey as she works toward further goals.
