Gogglebox star Baasit Siddiqui has shared rare images of his wife, Melissa, and their two children, Amelia and Theodore, during a holiday in Cyprus. The family was seen enjoying a hike to the Agioi Saranta Cave Church.

Melissa appeared in the photographs wearing a bright green statement shirt with a bikini underneath and sunglasses. Baasit, who has been a regular on the show with his brothers Umar and Raza and their father Sid since its 2013 debut, typically keeps his wife out of the public eye.

This outing comes after Baasit and Melissa celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary in October, revealing they had been dating for over 16 years. Melissa marked the occasion on social media, writing, "13 years married today, 16.5 years together - forever to go... Happy Anniversary to the absolute best, couldn’t do life without you... Love you xxx".

The couple has also shared plans to participate in the London Marathon in 2025 to support the mental health charity Mind. Baasit announced the news on Instagram in April, expressing his excitement to share the experience with his wife.

He noted that Melissa began running in January 2024 and highlighted the importance of Mind's work in addressing the growing mental health crisis. Baasit, who has a background in education, stated, "For over ten years I worked as a full time teacher and for the last five years I’ve worked across education with teachers, children and families."

He further elaborated on the mental health challenges prevalent in society, mentioning teacher workload, children's social media use, and parental stress due to the cost of living crisis. "It’s clear to see people need help more than ever!" he wrote. "That is why I’m proud to be running the 2025 London Marathon with my wife to raise money for such an amazing cause."
