Gisele Bündchen is featured on the cover of i-D magazine’s “Mother Issue,” photographed by Collier Schorr. In the accompanying spread, the 46-year-old supermodel is depicted lifting weights while wearing Victoria's Secret lingerie.
Bündchen, a mother of three, shared her perspective on motherhood with the magazine, stating, "Kids give us this opportunity to live again, to be more present and to experience life again. To do it maybe differently than we’ve done it before." She welcomed her third child, a son, in February 2025 with husband Joaquim Valente. Bündchen also has two older children, Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, from her previous marriage to Tom Brady.
She explained that family time now takes precedence over professional opportunities. "I say no to 99 percent of the jobs I’m offered because, when I put it on the scale, I’m like, ‘Am I going to miss my daughter’s volleyball game? Am I going to miss going to the park with my son? Am I going to miss my son DJing?'" Bündchen stated.
The photo spread includes images of Bündchen in various states of athletic attire, including a vintage tee with pins and tiny shorts, alongside her lingerie-clad weightlifting cover shot. She is shown flexing her biceps and giving a wink to the camera.
Bündchen detailed her current wellness routine, which incorporates weight training three times a week, Pilates once or twice a week, and yoga two or three times a week. She views her workouts as a privilege rather than an obligation, saying, "for me, working out—I don’t see it as something I have to do. I see it as something I get to do."
Her youngest son has begun to mirror her fitness habits, as seen in a previous Instagram post where the toddler stood between dumbbells in a pose similar to his mother's. Bündchen noted, "It’s so sweet to see how little they are when they start watching and emulating what we do."
Bündchen married Valente in an intimate at-home ceremony in November 2025. Her recent fashion appearances have been selective, including a cover for W magazine in June, her first for the publication in 19 years. The current i-D issue marks her seventh cover for the British fashion magazine, with her debut dating back to December 1998.
