Gigi Hadid has shared new insights into her relationship with Bradley Cooper, describing their connection as marked by a profound level of honesty she has not experienced before.

In a recent interview with Vogue France, Hadid, 31, spoke about the distinctive nature of her romance with the Oscar-nominated actor. "What is beautiful about my current relationship, and so different from what I have experienced, is an ability to be deeply honest," Hadid told the outlet. "To say what you think, when you think it."

When pressed on the difficulty of such candor, Hadid stated, "If that's impossible, it probably means he's not the right person." This sentiment comes after the couple fueled marriage speculation in Paris, where they were photographed wearing matching bands on their left ring fingers. Reports indicated the rings were Boucheron wedding bands, though subsequent reports suggested they were "promise rings." The couple, linked since late 2023, has generally maintained a private relationship.

Hadid previously told Vogue in 2025 that their privacy was not necessarily a strategic choice, but rather a reflection of their relationship not being one to share publicly, describing it at the time as "very romantic and happy."

Their private approach began to shift in May 2025 when Hadid made the romance Instagram official on her 30th birthday, sharing a photo of herself and Cooper kissing. She expressed gratitude for her life, acknowledging her role as a "mom, friend, partner, sister, daughter, colleague to some of the most unbelievable humans."

More recently, Hadid noted a change in her demeanor, with friends observing she appears to be "19 again" and "serene." She attributes this serenity in part to time spent in the countryside with her daughter, partner, and friends, describing it as a way to "recharge my batteries" and appreciate her work more upon returning to it.

Hadid, who shares daughter Khai with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik, and Cooper, who shares daughter Lea with former partner Irina Shayk, also discuss their careers. While they may not fully grasp each other's professional challenges, Hadid emphasized the importance of mutual support. "We don't necessarily understand all the challenges of each other's job, but the main thing is to have someone who supports you – and helps you keep your feet on the ground," she said.

Cooper's influence has also introduced Hadid to a different perspective on Paris, a city previously associated primarily with work. "I landed there, drove to the hotel where twenty photographers were waiting for me, impossible to walk, then in a car to a windowless studio," she recalled. Now, thanks to Cooper, who "loves France and speaks French," she has discovered and "adore[s]" a new side of the city. When asked about potentially living there, Hadid responded, "So at some point, why not move there, yes..."

Hadid also addressed her relationship with fame, noting that "99% of my daily life is not online." She views her online posts as celebrations of life's positive aspects, representing only a small fraction of her actual existence. Having gained significant visibility from a young age, Hadid acknowledged that the attention, which she once desired, eventually became overwhelming. "You end up only living through the eyes of others," she stated.

Currently, Hadid feels she has found a better balance between her life as a mother in Pennsylvania and her public career. "Today, I have found a balance between my life as a mom in Pennsylvania and my public life," she said.
