Gemma Collins has shared holiday photographs showing what she and her representatives described as a three-stone weight loss, and has publicly expressed concern about changes to her facial appearance after using weight-loss injections earlier this year.
The 44-year-old reality television personality posted images from a romantic getaway with her fiancé, Rami, including a shot of herself sunbathing in a white one-piece swimsuit and another of the couple together while she wore a long yellow-and-pink ombre dress and sunglasses. Collins has said she moved from a size 26 to a size 20 in roughly three months after beginning injections aimed at reducing her weight; she has previously said her heaviest weight was 23 stone and that her goal is to reach a UK size 16.
Earlier this year Collins posted a candid message on Instagram about what she described as an abrupt increase in crow’s feet and changes around her eyes. "I really don't know what's happened to me, I really don't, it's just come on me overnight," she wrote, adding that she had not had "any little tweakments" for a year and that she did not yet have what is popularly called "Ozempic face." The term is commonly used to describe facial changes such as sagging skin or a gaunt appearance that can follow rapid weight loss, sometimes linked in public discussion to medications like semaglutide, sold under brand names including Ozempic.
A source interviewed by The Mirror told reporters Collins had been "a bit of a shock" after seeing the effect of her weight loss on her face and that she was intent on addressing the issue with minor cosmetic treatments if necessary. The source said Collins had altered her diet and broken prior eating habits, and framed any wrinkle treatments as part of her wider aim to feel and look good following the weight change.
Collins has been a prominent figure in British reality television since appearing on The Only Way Is Essex. Her recent posts come amid reports she may take part in an All Stars edition of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here and as Sky prepares to broadcast a new eight-part documentary series titled Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby. Sky said the series will follow what it described as "the biggest chapter of her life," tracking wedding planning, family life and attempts to conceive via IVF over the coming year.
Collins has repeatedly discussed her relationship with her body in the public eye, describing past difficulties and detailing efforts to change her lifestyle. Her statements have contributed to wider public conversation about the benefits and potential visible consequences of rapid weight loss and the role of pharmaceutical treatments in that process.
Representatives for Collins did not immediately respond to requests for further comment. Sky said details about the documentary would be released ahead of its broadcast, and Collins’s social channels continue to feature regular updates on her personal life and preparations for marriage and parenthood.
