Garth Brooks has added two more shows to his upcoming Indianapolis engagement due to high demand, expanding his 'Blame It All On My Roots Tour' stop at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to four nights. The newly announced dates will take place on Thursday, Aug. 20; Friday, Aug. 21; Saturday, Aug. 22; and Sunday, Aug. 23. All four concerts are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. or 8 p.m., with the Sunday performance at 2 p.m.
Tickets for the expanded series of concerts are currently available. As of publication, the lowest available price for any of the four shows was $201, including fees, for the Sunday matinee performance. Prices for the other three dates range from $202 to $218, including fees. A discount code, NYPOST10, is available for $10 off purchases over $250 for first-time SeatGeek users.
Brooks, 64, expressed his surprise at the demand on Instagram, noting that nearly 400,000 people were in the Ticketmaster queue for tickets. He thanked fans for their patience.
The upcoming Indianapolis shows are described as a "full-scale return" featuring the production elements from Brooks' 1996 arena tour, including the iconic drum pod that was instrumental in changing live music production.
Brooks' recent performances include a July 27 show at London's Big Summer Time festival. According to Set List FM, he performed 19 songs during that festival, including hits like "The Dance," "The Thunder Rolls," "Unanswered Prayers," "If Tomorrow Never Comes," and "Friends in Low Places." He also included covers from artists such as Billy Joel, the Isley Brothers, Bob Seger, Eric Clapton, and The Oak Ridge Boys.
Brooks released his 17th studio album, "Time Traveler," on Nov. 7, 2023, exclusively through Bass Pro Shops. The album features ten tracks, including the lead single "Rodeo Man."
