FX will offer a weekly release for the fifth and final season of its critically acclaimed culinary series, "The Bear." While the entire season will be available on Hulu for binge-watching, new episodes will also air weekly on FX.
The season premiere is set for Thursday, June 25, 2026, with the first two episodes airing simultaneously on FX and Hulu at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT. Following the premiere, one new episode will be released each Thursday on FX until the season finale on August 6.
Season 5 picks up the morning after the Season 4 finale, where Chef Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) informed Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and Sugar (Abby Elliott) of his decision to leave the restaurant. The synopsis indicates that the new partners, facing financial challenges and the threat of a sale, must unite the team for "one last service" in pursuit of a Michelin star. The season will explore the idea that a restaurant's success is defined by its people as much as its food.
This season will consist of eight episodes, a departure from the 10-episode counts of Seasons 2 through 4, bringing it in line with the debut season's structure.
