Venezuela Fury, the 16-year-old daughter of boxer Tyson Fury, and her husband Noah Price, 19, have reportedly quit the new "I'm A Celebrity" spin-off show, "The Wild Frontier." The couple is said to have withdrawn from the series due to the challenging conditions in the British Columbia, Canada, wilderness.
A source told The Sun that Fury and Price decided to leave after realizing the show's trials and living conditions were "too much" for them. "They both realised early on it was too much. The challenges are tough, the living conditions aren't easy," the source stated. "They both gave it their best shot but when push came to shove, it all got too much and they walked out."
The departure of Fury and Price has reportedly caused a "headache for producers," who are said to be bringing in 2025 "Love Island" winner Toni Laites and her best friend Marielle as replacements.
"The Wild Frontier" features paired celebrities undertaking a series of wilderness trials. The show's lineup also includes Rio and Kate Ferdinand, Louise Redknapp and Joe Nurding, "Dancing on Ice" judges Christopher Dean and Karen Barber, boyband stars Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy, and social media personalities Paul Olima and Jeremy Lynch.
Earlier this year, Venezuela Fury's marriage to Noah Price drew controversy due to her age. In the Isle of Man, where the wedding took place, the legal age for marriage is 16 with parental consent, while it is 18 in England and Wales. Despite criticism on social media, Fury defended her marriage, sharing photos with the caption, "For everyone who said I was too young."
Ant and Dec, hosts of the "I'm A Celebrity" franchise, had previously teased "The Wild Frontier," promising "surprise twists" and "danger." They indicated that contestants would need to enter, compete, and leave as pairs, with "danger lurking around every corner" in the Canadian wilderness. The show is scheduled to launch next year, with the regular "I'm A Celebrity" from Australia returning later in the year.
