The complete lineup for the upcoming "I'm a Celebrity... South Africa" spin-off series, titled "The Wild Frontier," has been announced. The new show, hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, is set to air next year and will feature a twist where celebrities are paired together to navigate various trials in a wilderness setting.
The announced pairings include married couple Rio and Kate Ferdinand, and Venezuela Fury with her husband Noah Price. Additionally, siblings Louise Redknapp and Joe Nurding will form a team. Other confirmed duos are former "Dancing on Ice" judges Christopher Dean and Karen Barber, boyband members Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy, and social media personalities Paul Olima and Jeremy Lynch.
Venezuela Fury, 16, and her 19-year-old husband Noah Price, whose wedding earlier this year garnered significant public attention, will be among the contestants. They are scheduled to travel to Callaghan Valley in British Columbia next month to begin filming alongside the other stars. Their participation is seen as a major draw for the series, with a source noting their popularity and the public's interest in their journey without everyday comforts.
The marriage of Venezuela and Noah Price previously sparked controversy due to Venezuela's age at the time of the wedding. While the legal age for marriage on the Isle of Man with parental consent is 16, it is 18 in England and Wales. Venezuela has since addressed criticism on social media, sharing wedding photos with the caption, 'For everyone who said I was too young.'
Rio Ferdinand's participation marks his first venture into reality television, while his wife Kate Ferdinand has prior experience in the genre, having been part of "The Only Way Is Essex."
The new series, "The Wild Frontier," is expected to consist of 15 episodes and will see the paired celebrities compete in a series of challenges. The identities of the hosts, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, were confirmed earlier.
