A Daily Mail round-up has identified a wide range of themed cruises on sale for the coming year, from adults-only 1990s and 2000s music parties to Star Trek celebrations, drag shows and cycling-focused river voyages.

The list illustrates how cruise operators are targeting niche interests with short speciality sailings and longer fan-focused voyages, offering varied price points and departure ports across Europe, the United States and the Caribbean.

TUI's Electric Sunsets 90s and 00s Cruise is marketed as an adults-only trip featuring "big-name acts and DJs" performing the era's hits. The three-night sailing departs from Palma Mallorca on Nov. 1 after a charter flight from Birmingham and calls at Valencia and Cartagena before returning to Malaga. Prices for the itinerary start at around £800 per person, according to the Daily Mail.

Music-themed voyages extend to harder rock. The Headbangers Boat offers a four-day rock-and-roll cruise from Miami to Cozumel, Mexico, with live performances, artist Q&As and onboard activities. That sailing departs Oct. 31, with fares starting from approximately £864 per person for a four-person group, the report said.

Fans of science fiction can look to Royal Caribbean's Star Trek cruise aboard Adventure of the Seas. The seven-day voyage, timed to mark 60 years since the franchise's television debut, departs Port Canaveral, Florida, on Feb. 20, 2026, and stops in Puerto Plata, the Dominican Republic; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and CocoCay in the Bahamas. The voyage is currently sold out, though Royal Caribbean is operating a waitlist.

Virgin Voyages is offering a drag-focused sailing, Drag Stars At Sea, billed to include performers such as Bob the Drag Queen, Bianca Del Rio and Trinity the Tuck. That four-night cruise leaves Miami on Oct. 15, with fares beginning at about $699 (roughly £513).

For travellers who prefer pedals to playlists, Uniworld in partnership with Butterfield & Robinson is marketing a seven-night river-cruise cycling holiday from Basel to Amsterdam. The departure is scheduled for May 24, 2026, with prices from $10,995 (about £8,076) per person.

Seasonal and brand-driven options also appear on the list. Hallmark's Christmas Cruise departs Miami for Cozumel on Nov. 6 and is currently fully booked; interested customers can join a First Available Program for cancellations. Taylor Swift–themed programming will appear on Royal Caribbean's Karma Is A Cruise aboard Liberty of the Seas, a four-night sailing from Fort Lauderdale Feb. 16–20, 2026, with fares from roughly $594 (about £436).

The cruise offerings cited by the Daily Mail show a range in length, cost and target audience, from short nostalgia and holiday sailings to weeklong fan conventions at sea. Availability varies by itinerary, and some sailings are already sold out or operating waitlists. Prices and availability are reported as correct as of Sept. 15, 2025.
