Former ECW and WWE star Dawn Marie has joined the subscription platform OnlyFans at the age of 55. The Women's Wrestling Hall of Famer, who also works as a nurse, announced the launch of her account last week.
Marie stated on her OnlyFans page that subscribers can expect "sexy shoots and implied nudity" but no explicit content. She encouraged direct messages from fans, emphasizing a desire for "fun, flirty and respectful" interactions.
Marie is widely remembered for her significant storyline feud with Torrie Wilson on WWE's SmackDown in the early 2000s. Their rivalry involved Marie marrying Wilson's on-screen father and a controversial plotline where Marie manipulated Wilson into a sexual encounter. The storyline culminated in Marie attacking Wilson at a funeral after the scripted death of the father character.
Marie departed WWE in 2005 due to pregnancy and subsequently sued the company for wrongful termination. The lawsuit was settled out of court in 2007. She has remained active on the convention circuit.
Marie is not the first former WWE personality to venture onto subscription-based content platforms. Torrie Wilson, now 51, joined Passes, a platform described as a more PG-rated alternative to OnlyFans, last year. Wilson stated she did not want to share nude content, finding Passes to be a suitable cleaner platform. Wilson began her wrestling career in WCW before joining WWE in 2001. During her WWE tenure, she was a prominent sex symbol, appearing on the covers of FHM and Playboy magazines.
In 2022, Amanda 'Mandy Rose' Saccomanno was dismissed from WWE after sharing explicit content on the app FanTime. The attention surrounding her dismissal reportedly led to significant financial gains on her FanTime page, and she has since transitioned to OnlyFans. Other former WWE performers, including Elayna Black (formerly Cora Jade) and Bea Priestley (formerly Blair Davenport), have also established OnlyFans accounts after leaving WWE's developmental brand NXT.
