Former world snooker champion Graeme Dott has been found guilty of child abuse charges. The 49-year-old was convicted of lewd and libidinous behavior toward a girl and a boy.

Dott, who secured the sport's world championship title at The Crucible in 2006, had previously denied the accusations. A judge at the High Court in Glasgow delivered the verdict, with sentencing deferred to a separate hearing scheduled for September 29 in Edinburgh.
