Food influencer Grace Lewis, known for her Crazy Korean Cooking page, transformed her East Coast home into a convincing replica of the West Coast burger chain In-N-Out for her parents, who had never experienced the restaurant. Lewis meticulously recreated the drive-thru experience at her New Jersey residence, complete with a menu board, uniforms, custom wrappers, and a speaker box. The project garnered significant attention, with a video detailing the process accumulating over 5.3 million views on TikTok, where Lewis has 2.1 million followers.

To achieve an authentic “Out-N-In” experience, avoiding potential trademark issues, Lewis and her sister made every component from scratch. This included grinding the meat for the burgers, preparing homemade ketchup and Thousand Island dressing, whipping up American cheese, and baking the burger buns. Lewis even donned a replica uniform to enhance the immersive atmosphere.

The recreated menu featured popular items such as the Double Double Animal Style, 4X4 Animal Style, and french fries Animal Style. The experience culminated with Lewis’ parents picking up their orders at the makeshift pick-up window, served in a traditional red tray with palm tree-themed wrapping.

Social media users reacted enthusiastically to the elaborate recreation. Comments flooded Lewis’ video, with many users expressing delight at the family’s wholesome interactions and praising the apparent quality of the homemade food. Some viewers suggested that Lewis's homemade versions looked even better than the original restaurant's offerings. Lewis noted that her parents have become popular figures on her social media channel due to their positive and endearing reactions.
