FatFace has released a limited-edition capsule collection created in collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British retailer announced on 4 September 2025. The range, which includes pieces for women and men, draws on original textiles and prints from the V&A’s archive and is being promoted in a campaign featuring mother and daughter Pearl and Daisy Lowe.

The collection’s womenswear centers on dresses described by Daisy Lowe as the “hero pieces,” with relaxed silhouettes intended for easy wear. Standout items highlighted by the brand include a sunshine-yellow jumper derived from a large watercolour painting and a burgundy embroidered boho blouse reworked from a delicate floral paisley design. The line also introduces a wide-legged denim style called the Willow jeans as an autumn staple. Prices start at £10.50 and the collection is being stocked across FatFace stores and online.

"The dresses are my hero-pieces from the collection. They’re jolly, eye-catching and the silhouettes are relaxed, rather than cinched, so you can just throw them on and go have fun," Daisy Lowe said in comments supplied with the launch. FatFace’s print designer, Laura Braisher, said the team immersed itself in the museum’s design legacy when selecting and reinterpreting archive prints.

"Working with the V&A meant immersing ourselves in an incredible design legacy. From carefully selecting archive prints to reimagining them through modern silhouettes and materials, the designs were a true labour of love," Braisher said.

The collaboration makes use of the V&A’s historic textile and print holdings, translating archival motifs into contemporary garments intended for the autumn season. FatFace characterized the partnership as a way to bring museum-held designs to a broader audience through accessible price points and everyday silhouettes.

The V&A holds one of the world’s most extensive collections of decorative arts and design, and its archives are frequently referenced by designers and brands seeking historical source material. FatFace, a UK-based high-street retailer, has expanded its seasonal offering in recent years with collaborations and themed collections aimed at capturing on-trend looks at mainstream price points.

The FatFace x V&A collection is available now in stores and online, with items ranging from lower-priced accessories and knits up to higher-priced statement pieces. Stock levels may vary by location.
