Actress Evanna Lynch, widely recognized for her portrayal of Luna Lovegood in the 'Harry Potter' film franchise, has married French gardener Denis Skinner. The ceremony took place in London.

Lynch, 35, consulted an astrologer to determine an auspicious wedding date, ultimately choosing August 21. She explained that she aimed to avoid the solar eclipse, citing instances where friends or family experienced dramatic events during such celestial occurrences.

The couple, who met in 2021 at a bar in Camden where Skinner was working, had a small gathering of 20 close family and friends at Islington Town Hall. Lynch wore a vintage puffball skirt paired with a Moira Hughes corset. Following the ceremony, the wedding party celebrated at Wilton's Music Hall with a swing band and vegan cake.

Lynch shared that her initial feelings about wedding planning were somewhat dismissive due to the perceived extravagance, but she came to appreciate its unique and special nature as the date approached. Instead of a traditional ring, Lynch presented Skinner with a charm necklace featuring his dog's tooth.

The engagement occurred in 2023 following what Lynch described as a "big argument" that felt like a potential breakup. Skinner later reproposed at her cousin's allotment. This union follows Lynch's previous nine-year relationship with 'Harry Potter' co-star Robbie Jarvis, which ended in 2016, and a brief romance with singer-songwriter AnDel in 2017.
