Ethan Slater, recently reported to have split from Ariana Grande after three years together, shared a lighthearted Instagram post referencing the reality dating show "Love Island." The post, made to promote his role in "Little Shop Of Horrors," featured a clip with co-star Betsy Wolfe.
Mouthing along to a "Love Island" narrator's voice, Slater said, "This week a hot new bombshell enters the villa," as Wolfe, dressed in a leopard print outfit, appeared on screen. The pair captioned the video, "This flower shop runs on good vibes and bombshells."
It was reported last month that Slater, 34, and Grande had decided to end their relationship after considerable thought. A source described the breakup, which reportedly occurred several months prior, as amicable, with both parties remaining friends. Grande has reportedly rekindled her relationship with ex-boyfriend Ricky Alvarez, with whom she was seen celebrating the Fourth of July with her family. According to TMZ, the couple is officially back together but is "taking things slow."
Grande has also seemingly alluded to the reunion during her ongoing "Eternal Sunshine" tour. During a recent Brooklyn concert, she altered the lyrics of her song "Thank U, Next," changing the line "Wrote some songs about Ricky / Now I listen and laugh" to "Wrote some songs about Ricky / We always find our way back." Earlier, at a June 26 concert in Texas, she sang, "Wrote some songs about Ricky / I know he's still got my back."
Grande and Alvarez first met around 2015 when he was a backup dancer on her "Honeymoon" tour. They confirmed their relationship the following year, but reports of their split emerged several months later, after approximately a year of dating.
