The Empire State Building illuminated in a celebratory light blue on Friday evening to mark the wedding of pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The building's official Instagram account shared footage of the blue light show, captioning it, "Her something blue 🩵." The skyscraper's website specified the color as "light blue sparkle color."
The New York City landmark's tribute followed an announcement at Madison Square Garden, where the couple reportedly tied the knot. Signs surrounding the venue displayed the message, "JUST&T MARRIED!"
According to a press release, Swift and Kelce exchanged vows wearing Christian Dior Haute Couture, with comedian Adam Sandler officiating the ceremony. They opted out of traditional wedding parties, with Swift's brother, Austin Swift, serving as her man of honor, and Travis' brother, Jason Kelce, as his best man.
The wedding festivities began with a rehearsal dinner on Thursday evening for approximately 100 close friends and family members. The event reportedly featured pink drapes and large floral arrangements, and guests received diamond-studded champagne flutes as parting gifts.
The main ceremony and reception on Friday were attended by a larger group of around 1,000 guests, including celebrities such as actresses Dakota Johnson and Zoë Kravitz, actors Hugh Grant and Jason Sudeikis, publicist Tree Paine, and comedian Jimmy Fallon.
