Television’s biggest night brought a parade of designer looks to the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles as celebrities used the 2025 Emmys red carpet to display eveningwear and high jewelry ahead of the wider awards season.

Leading the evening’s style conversation were Jenna Ortega, Selena Gomez, and Lisa, joined by a range of actors whose choices spanned minimalist tailoring to ornate couture. Ortega drew attention in a Givenchy top-and-skirt combination paired with Pomellato jewels and Christian Louboutin shoes. Gomez wore a halter Louis Vuitton gown with a draped collar and train, finished with Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Lisa, the pop star-turned-actress, appeared in a blush Lever Couture frock complemented by colorful Bvlgari baubles, a marked departure from the khaki looks associated with her role on The White Lotus.

Sydney Sweeney chose a strapless Oscar de la Renta gown in scarlet and accessorized with more than 175 carats of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds. Aimee Lou Wood favored a McQueen corset dress accented with red at the bust. Other notable women on the carpet included Hunter Schafer and Sarah Catherine Hook, both in looks set off by Cartier jewelry; Chloë Sevigny in Saint Laurent; and Cate Blanchett in an Armani Privé jumpsuit. Michelle Monaghan wore Paco Rabanne with De Beers jewels.

Men’s tailoring received attention as well. Colman Domingo arrived in a Valentino suit with Boucheron jewelry and an Omega watch. Tramell Tillman wore Dolce & Gabbana with boots and an Audemars Piguet timepiece, while Sam Nivola opted for Dior.

Jewelry houses provided many of the evening’s focal points. Lorraine Schwartz, Tiffany & Co., Bvlgari, Pomellato, Cartier and Boucheron appeared alongside gowns and suits, underscoring the prominence of high jewelry on award-show carpets. Footwear and accessories ranged from Christian Louboutin and Stuart Weitzman to designer bags and statement watches.

Designers represented a cross section of couture and ready-to-wear houses, with looks from Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Oscar de la Renta, McQueen, Thom Browne, Dolce & Gabbana and Dior among those spotted. Stylists and designers have noted that the Emmys, held months before the Golden Globes, SAG Awards and Oscars, often influence trends carried through the rest of awards season.

Emmys 2025 red carpet highlights

The evening’s selections ranged from restrained elegance to theatrical glamour, with several attendees choosing monochrome silhouettes and others favoring embellished or brightly colored pieces. The mix of established film and television actors, rising stars and crossover performers contributed to a broadly varied presentation of contemporary red-carpet style.

Winners and nominees took the stage during the broadcast, but the red carpet remained a focal point for fashion coverage and brand visibility. With major ceremonies still ahead this season, the Emmys offered an early view of designers and jewelers likely to remain prominent in upcoming awards coverage.
