Emma Roberts and musician Cody John were married over the weekend in a ceremony held at Roberts' family estate in Sun Valley, Idaho. The couple exchanged vows outdoors on Saturday.

Roberts, 35, wore a custom white gown with asymmetrical sleeves by Monique Lhuillier, described as vintage-inspired. She was walked down the aisle by her five-year-old son, Rhodes, whom she shares with ex Garrett Hedlund. Following the ceremony, Roberts changed into an archival after-party dress by the same designer. John wore a brown suit.

Among the guests were Roberts' aunt, Oscar-winner Julia Roberts, and her husband, Danny Moder. Julia Roberts, 58, wore a navy blue polka dot dress, while Moder, 57, was in a black suit with a plum tie.

Roberts previously told Vogue about designing her wedding gown, stating, "I just knew that I wanted it to feel very vintage-inspired. I'm obsessed with antique books and treasure hunting, and I love collecting old ephemera, so I really wanted that to shine through in the dress."

Roberts and John began dating in 2022 and confirmed their relationship in August of that year. John announced their engagement in 2024 via an Instagram post, captioning a photo of the couple with: "Putting this here before my mom tells everyone."

Roberts previously expressed a desire to avoid dating actors, telling Flaunt magazine, "One day the veil was lifted and I didn't want to date actors anymore. It's hard, I think, for two actors to be together."

She also mentioned that some actors she had dated "border on method actors, and that is something that I think is extremely difficult to be in a relationship with." Roberts and Hedlund were first linked in April 2019, following her split from actor Evan Peters.
