Rapper Eminem is auctioning off more than 100 pairs of shoes from his personal collection, with all proceeds going to the Marshall Mathers Foundation. The sale, hosted by Julien's Auctions in Los Angeles, began with open bidding on August 25.
The collection spans over two decades of Eminem's footwear interests, including items from Nike, Jordan, Carhartt, Puma, and Adidas. Each pair is personally signed by the artist and comes in its original box.
Among the highlights are a pair of Eminem x Nike Air Jordan 3 “Slim Shady PE” promo sneakers, estimated to fetch up to $35,000. Also featured are Eminem x Carhartt x Nike Air Jordan 4 promo sneakers, signed in gold, with an estimated value of up to $25,000.
The auction also includes signed Adidas Superstar 1s and Puma Palace Guard OG Retro “Detroit Pistons” sneakers.
Eminem has a history of using his shoe collection for charitable causes. In 2006, he created a Nike Air Max charity series in memory of his late friend, Proof.
