Actress Emily Atack has shared details and images from her intimate wedding ceremony to scientist Alistair Garner, which took place over the weekend in the UK. The couple plans to hold a larger ceremony in Spain next month.
Atack, known for her role in "The Inbetweeners," posted photos on social media showcasing her white Josephine Scott wedding gown, which featured long sleeves, lace cuffs, and a plunging neckline. She complemented the dress with a lengthy lace veil and headpiece. The gown, described as her dream wedding look, reportedly cost £2,325.
The ceremony was attended by close family and friends, with photos capturing the couple exchanging vows at the altar and leaving the church. Atack shared her joy, writing, "Yesterday we officially got married among close family and friends. It was absolutely perfect."
Celebrations included two custom cakes. One featured an icing sculpture of Atack, Garner, their son Barney, and their dog Penny. A second pink cake was adorned with the couple's initials and a portrait of their dog.
Atack, 36, and Garner, 40, have been together for some time, welcoming their son Barney two years ago. They became engaged in July 2025. The actress previously mentioned plans for a larger celebration in Spain, describing it as a "fat, f*** off party" and has stated that children will not be invited to the Spanish nuptials.
Friends of Atack, including author Elizabeth Day and Will Manning, offered congratulations in the comments of her social media post. The couple resides in Bedfordshire, where some photos were taken in the garden of their home.
