Actress Emily Atack has married her partner Alistair Garner in a private ceremony held in the UK this past weekend. The couple exchanged vows surrounded by close family and friends.
Atack, 36, shared the news on Instagram, revealing that the UK ceremony was just the first of two celebrations. She announced that a more elaborate wedding ceremony will take place in Spain in two weeks. "Yesterday we officially got married among close family and friends. It was absolutely perfect," Atack posted, adding, "I can't believe we get to do all that again in a few weeks time."
The couple, who welcomed their son Barney two years ago, became engaged in July 2025. Atack, known for her role in "The Inbetweeners," had previously discussed plans for a significant celebration abroad. She described the upcoming Spanish event as a "fat, f*** off party" and mentioned that she would be opting for a "big" wedding dress, inspired by 80s fashion.
Speculation about the wedding location had centered on Spain, a country Atack has visited since childhood and where the couple has previously considered venues. "We're getting married in September. I've very much enjoyed the planning process," she told Grazia magazine earlier this year.
Atack also shared details about her hen party, which took place in Cannes and involved a weekend of celebrations with friends. She posted photos from the event, joking about having "enough rosé to last a lifetime."
For the celebrations in Andalusia, Spain, Atack has implemented a 'no children' policy, a decision she noted has been met with acceptance from guests. "We have said no kids at the wedding, no children," she stated, expressing surprise at the positive reception to the rule. "I thought I'd get a lot of people kicking off, but they're like no, 'f*** those kids.'"
