Elsa Hosk announced on Instagram Wednesday that she is engaged to longtime partner Tom Daly after he proposed in the couple’s new apartment.
Photos posted by the Swedish model show Daly down on one knee amid floral shrubs and candles, a Tiffany blue box and an oval-shaped diamond ring that Hosk slid onto her manicured finger. Kegan Fisher, co-founder of Frank Darling, told Page Six the stone appears to be “roughly 10 carats,” and estimated a retail value between $350,000 and $500,000, with a premium market price that could reach $750,000 to $1 million.
In additional images, Hosk and Daly kiss and walk into a restaurant where friends and family surprised them with an engagement party. A short clip included in Hosk’s post shows confetti falling as she and Daly enter, and a photograph later in the feed shows a small green cake reading, “Congratulations Elsa & Tom.” Hosk, 36, wore a red silk blouse and burgundy bottoms for the celebration; Daly wore a gray suit.
Hosk captioned the Instagram post, "I said yessss 💍 in a Swedish wildflower garden, in our new apartment in the city we met😭10 years in – you and me baby @tomtomdaly ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️," and shared close-ups of the ring and the moment Daly proposed.
Hosk and Daly began dating in 2015. The couple welcomed a daughter, Tuulikki Joan, in February 2021. Hosk has generally kept details of her personal life private, while Daly posts more frequently about his family on social media.
The engagement was first reported and documented on Page Six, which published Hosk’s Instagram images and quoted the jewelry estimate. Hosk rose to prominence as a model for Victoria’s Secret and has appeared in campaigns and runway shows internationally.
No wedding date has been announced. The Instagram post and accompanying images provided the first public confirmation of the couple’s engagement.
