Love Island's Ellie Chadwick has decided to leave the villa, with her departure airing on Thursday night following her partner Finley Maddock's dumping by fellow contestants. The decision came after the public vote identified Elicia, Martha, and Mica as the three least favorite girls, and Finley, Jordan, and Samraj as the least favorite boys.

Elicia and Jordan were automatically eliminated. The remaining islanders then faced the difficult task of voting two more contestants out of the remaining four: Martha, Finley, Samraj, and another unmentioned male contestant. Ultimately, Martha and Finley were chosen to leave.

Despite a turbulent week that included Finley's head being turned by newcomer Elicia Bailey, which led to a kiss and Chadwick threatening to leave, the couple had appeared to reconcile. Chadwick chose Finley in a recent recoupling, and their romance seemed back on track.

Upon learning Finley was to be dumped, Chadwick expressed her distress, saying, "I know that he is my person." As the vote was revealed, she stated, "I'm going guys I am going I can't do it." Finley questioned her decision, suggesting he may have ruined her experience. Chadwick responded that she wouldn't find a connection like theirs again within the remaining two weeks of the show.

The pair shared a tearful goodbye with the other islanders before departing. Chadwick's exit marks the third voluntary departure from the villa this year. Previously, George Knight left citing family health concerns, although reports suggest he also received a warning for using "unacceptable language." Casa Amor contestant Gabriel Garland was removed after past revelations surfaced that were not detected during initial background checks.
